Date Time : Suicide Squad & TGI Fridays

Anyone who has followed me from my previous blog or my YouTube channel will know I am a bit of a geek at heart and that I love a superhero and supervillan. I’m not sure how I managed it but I somehow got the hubster to agree to come along to watch Suicide Squad with me today, it was released at 12 am and I had pre booked tickets for 1.40 this afternoon. I had thought it would be busier than it was but we were lucky that there were very few people watching.

I’m not a cinema lover, I hate sharing a room with that many people for that length of time and I get quite anxious incase I need to pee half way through, so it needs to be a very special film to get this bottom on a cinema seat.

Seeing as the film started at 13.40 we decided to grab something to eat first, one of my favourite places to eat is TGI Fridays in Stockton on Tees, the staff are always friendly, the service is always good and the food is always served quickly and is tasty. Today didn’t fail to meet all my expectations of our favourite eatery.

I had massive expectations of the film and to be honest it totally delivered, the main character for me would have to be Jared Leto who plays The Joker, he teamed up with Margot Robbie who played Harley Quinn, for me they stole the show and although I am a massive Will Smith fan (I’m talking fan from back in the Fresh Prince days) they totally blew me away and I hope we see more of them on the big screen in the future.

  1. I’m counting down the days as I’ve managed to snag a mid week babysitter so I can go on Wednesday evening with my OH (he’s the geek, although I’m starting to embrace it now, especially since the kids are getting in on the act šŸ™‚ )
Sounds like it’s better than Batman V Superman, that was a huge disappointment x

    1. I did and I loved it. I think my OH has finally turned me into a bit of a geek with all things DC related, I can’t wait for the Wonder Woman and Justice League films next year x
Hope you enjoy Batman v Superman more than I did. It wasn’t a bad film, just a bit drawn out for my liking x
