For most of my Journalling I use the Project Life app to make a collage of 4 photos on a 6×4″ print that I then print off using my Canon Selphy, this means that not only are the pictures small enough to not become over barring on the page but it also means I get 4 photos out of 1 sheet of photo paper.
I used the 4 photos that I printed out today for my quick journalling session, I was super proud of my little boy and wanted to document his trophy win that night, ready to show him in the morning.
I started with the pictures of my little girl that I thought were extremely sweet, I cut a piece Whisper White card and used the Sharing Sweet Thoughts stamp set to stamp the jar, sentiment, hearts and butterflies.. It’s a simple layout and the photos are the focal point of the page which was my intention, obviously 😉
You can view the process video here.
My boy came home from Muai Thai with a trophy, its his second week and he earned it for working hard, we were all so proud of him and his beaming little face said it all.. I just had to document it straight away. I cut down a piece of DSP from the Naturally Eclectic paper stack and used Emerald Envy and Night of Navy ink to stamp. The stamps I’ve used are from the Watercolour Words set.
The post it is to preserve my little girls dignity.. she was so excited to see the trophy she jumped out of bed and only had a pull up on!
