Traveler’s Notebook | Journal With Me | Pocket Page Notebook Process with UglyBugPlans Creative Kit

I have been dying to finish my old insert and crack open one of my new Pocket Page Notebooks that the lovely Michelle from The Stamp Spot sent to me to try. I must say that the paper is nice and thick and really good quality. I stamped the flowers on this layout using a dark blue and there was minimal shadowing on the next page, in fact when the page was laid down you couldn’t see it at all. The plastic is sealed right at the edge so you get the whole clear insert to fill with whatever your heart desires. I know lots of people use these as a shaker dash but I prefer to cut paper to size and slide that in.

Because of the brown sticker that I’d used on the bottom right of the photo I wanted to bring the same colour over to the left hand page and managed that with these alphas that spell out part of my title.

The edging is a stamp that i’ve stamped in coordinating coloured ink. The die cuts and journalling card were part of the Autumn UglyBugPlans Traveler’s Notebook kit that you can find over on my etsy store.

You can see the full process video here. Enjoy.

Much love
