Birthday’s normally take up much more room in my albums than anything else but this year I just forgot to take as many pictures on Trevor’s birthday. The only photo I really took was this one with him looking slightly demonic… he was really excited for a slab of that cake!
The Picture Perfect Party suite was perfect for this layout and I made the cards by cutting down the 6×6 paper pad to fit in the slots on the 12×12 page protector.
I’m not happy with the title card and may go back in and change that, something I rarely do!
Except for the labels and a few enamel dots/wood veneer embellishments I let the photos do the talking in this layout, I think that I was afraid that the busy photographs coupled with the busy background papers would just be a bit of an overload with too many embellishments.
To make the labels coordinate with the layout and not look like plain white paper, I used my Stampin Write markers to add a border to them which helps them to blend into the layout.
As always the full process for this layout is at the bottom of this blog post. Enjoy!
