Introducing “Crafting Forever” in my Art Journal | with Stampin’ Up! Crafting Forever

I totally loved creating this page in my art journal, I’ve had a bit of an art funk when it comes to my stamps and turned to YouTube for some inspiration. I stumbled across this video from Simply Blue and totally loved and felt inspired by it.

I made the background with the ink from my stampin up ink pads with some added water. The image I stamped onto some whisper white card stock and fussy cut out, I used my watercolour pencils to colour it in and then used my fine tip glue on the edge of the paintbrushes which gives the look of 3D paint on the brushes.

I used the watercolour pencil in brown to create a shadow under the pot and stuck the stamped image on with dimentionals. This was such a fun page to create and I love this stamp set and have lots more ideas for it.

I initially stamped the sentiment onto the brown background but wasn’t keen on the finished look so decided to use whisper white cardstock and punched it with my everyday label punch. I stamped with versamark and used my copper embossing powder and heat tool.
