*Beautiful Peacock* Art Journal Process | with Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Peacock and Brusho Crystal Colour

Is anyone else out there getting battered by storm Emma and the Beast from the East? Our schools ahve been off for 2 days and there just doesn’t seem to be an end in sight from this awful snow. I normally love to be cozy indoors whilst looking out at the snow but this weekend is our big planner event and if this weather keeps up I’m worried about people travelling!

My spirits were lifted earlier today when Mr UPS delivered a box of Stampin’ Up! goodies for me, I treated myself to the brusho’s as i’ve seen some really great projects with them on YouTube. I also have my Stamparatus which will feature in a future post.

I used my versamark ink to stamp the peacock image in my art journal and then some clear embossing powder ontop of that, I used the heat tool to set the powder and that created an image that will resist colour.

Then I spritzed (read here drowned) my page and sprinkled on the brusho. Now i’ve been watching videos on there and everyone said to poke a hole in the lip and sprinkle on, apparently if you open the tub it goes everywhere… I’m not going to lie, I really want to open one, just to see hahaha.

The sentiment was stamped and embossed with black powder and I added some white paint pen around the “plumage.”

Have you tried Brusho Crystal Powder yet? I think the rest of my afternoon is going to be spent binge watching Youube videos, in between referring the children who seem to have a touch of cabin fever right now!!
