Handmade Notepad with Stampin’ Up! Tutti Frutti

Today kicks of the first of our UglyBug Crafty Club tutorials, in this video I showed a bit of a kit reveal so that those not on the club can see what was included. Although sign up for this month has now closed you can sign up for the current month HERE.

So who was wondering what we’d be doing with the memo pad? I wanted to show you some ideas for quick and easy projects that you can make and either give as gifts or sell at craft fairs. These would just look adorable with a tiny matching pencil or pen and I know that it is for sure a gift that I’d appreciate and use all the time.

I used my large letter thinlets to cut out the N on this notebook and everything else was from the March UglyBug Crafty Club Kit. I used the memo pad to cut the Lemon Lime Twist cardstock down to size, leaving a 1.5″ tab on the top. I folded the top over and then back down the back side of the notebook and used my fast fuse to adhere only the back flap down. I leave the top as this helps the page to be pulled out if needed.

You can decorate the front however takes your fancy. I used this sheet of 6×6 paper from the tutti frutti range and some lemon lime twist ribbon, the N is the recipients initial and 3 self-adhesive sequins just to pretty up the page.

I would absolutley love to see any projects you make using this tutorial or any of your Crafty Club Kit, you can tag me across all social media platforms @uglybugplans and also use #ubcraftyclub.
