Have you ever wanted to build your very own leather traveller’s notebook but are not sure where to start? We are running our very first, of many, leather craft workshops where you will be taught all the skills you need to dye, decorate, assemble, stitch and finish your very own Traveler’s Notebook. In your choice of size.
Our first workshop takes place on the 18th May 2018 and starts at 10am in our studio which is located in the North East of England (TS21 4BY). You will be issued with your pre-cut leather in the size of your choice and will be taught about the different thicknesses, their uses, and what leather we use.
Trevor uses a variety of dyes to achieve different end results, you will be taught all of these and shown some top secret tips that he has become known for. You will then get to try these out on your own project. Trevor will be on hand to help you achieve your desired end result.
If you’ve ever fancied some decorative patterns on your planner then after today you will know how to create these. You will be shown the different tools of the trade and will be able to practice these on some scrap leather before deciding if it is something you’d like on your project.
We cover every aspect of making your planners and you’ll be able to ask questions as you go, we will keep the groups small (4-6 people) so that you benefit most from the day.
Tea/coffee/snacks will be provided throughout the day and lunch is included. You will be required to fill in an online form to note your menu choice and any dietary requirements along with your planner size and any further information we may need.
You can book this amazing workshop with the button below. Tickets are non-refundable but if you are unable to attend we may be able to move you to a different date.
We plan to run more of these workshops in future, if you cannot attend this date then get in touch with us and we can look to run them on a date you can attend.
