Simple Mixed Media Card

Usually the UglyBug Crafty Club tutorials start to come out the week that kits are sent, however this month life has been full on and hectic and I’m running a bit late. This is the second video using the videos from the kit and today I decided to make something pretty quick and simple for you. A mixed media card.

I started with half an A4 sheet of very vanilla card stock and used a sponge diped into my rich razzleberry ink pad to create a border the whol way round the card. I then folded that in half to create a card base.

I use my doily and embossing paste that I used in the last video (excpet this time I used rich razzleberry to colour the paste).

Two of the journalling cards stacked ontop of each other give a lovely layered look and the crushed velvet ribbon made a fantastic faux bow.
