Delightful Daisy 3D Paper Flower Project

Stampin’ Up! (c) – Design by Michelle Mills – UK Independent Demonstrator

IMG_5916

Spring has sprung and it finally feels like summer may just be on its way! I really love to have fresh cut flowers around my home but it appears that this year I have been hit with a really bad case of hay fever so I am relying on wax melts and paper flowers to decorate and perfume my house!

I really do love the daisy punch and matching stamp set so last night I set about making myself a cute little daisy display, I chose to make this one in whisper white and pool party but I’m thinking this would look amazing in really bright and bold colours too.

I added the water beads in the bottom just for effect and to give the daisies different heights.

1 Sheet Trinket Box : New Stampin’ Up! Delightful Daisy DSP : Teamie Tuesday : Summer

A whole week has gone by since the last teamie tuesday and it definitely feels more summer-esq than it did a week ago so this weeks theme “Summer” feels very fitting.

I decided to make this wee little trinket box which has a multitude of uses, I stumbled on the idea a while ago and have several of them on my desk, holding all types of items from paper clips to die cuts and ink pads. I find them the perfect size to hold embellishments whilst I’m crafting but they can also be used as little gift boxes.

Product Ingredients:

  • Bone Folder – 102300
  • Delightful Daisy DSP (Available June 1st) – 144137

Easy Traveler’s Notebook planner pocket insert : New Stampin’ Up! Delightful Daisy!

I am a true planner girl at heart but to be honest I don’t really do the decorating on the inside of my pages… I like a bit of wash tape and a couple of stickers but I can’t focus when I have a full page layout.. so I like my planners to be pretty on the outside, with functional decoration!

My a6 Ugly Dori has had the same internal decoration for about 6 weeks now and I really fancied a change.. as I am preparing for a big event this weekend I didn’t have the time to laminate all my dividers and I wanted something that was going to be functional to store receipts.

I came up with this simple and easy template to make these pocket folders! You can view the process video HERE!

Product Ingredients:

A7 (Micro):

  • Cut paper to: 9″ (228mm) x 6″ (150mm)
  • Score at: Longside – 4.5″  (114mm) and then 3″ (76 mm) either side of score line. Shortside – 1.75″ (44mm)

A6:

  • Cut to 9.25″ (235mm) x 12″ (305mm)
  • Score at: Longside – 6″ (152mm) and then 4.25″ (108mm) both sides of the centre score line. Shortside – 6″ (152mm)

Regular:

  • 12″ x 12″ (305mm x 305mm)
  • Score at: Longside – 6″ (152mm)) and then 4.5″ (114mm) both sides of the centre score line. Shortside – 8.25″ (210mm)

Field Notes (Pocket):

  • Cut to 6″ x 12″
  • Score at: Longside – 6″ (152mm) then 3.75″ (95mm)

either side of centre score line. Shortside: .25″ (7mm)

Stamping’ Up! This Little Piggy : Sneak Peaks of New Products

Why did the piggy cross the road?…. to get to the other side of course 😉

Todays “Teamie Tuesday” had a theme of Squares, at first I was really unsure on what I was going to do but then inspiration struck.

Many of you will know that the new Stampin’ Up! catalogue launches on the 1st June (if you’d like me to send you a catalogue then you can fill your details in HERE), demonstrators get to view the catalogue in April and we can pre order in May (so keep a watch on my blog for sneak peaks of products and new projects): however any demonstrators who attend our functions get to pre order before the pre order.

Last week whilst I was on holiday in Lincoln I was lucky enough to go and visit my upline and mentor Zoe from Stamping Scene who not only let me play with the products but was kind enough to give me a few bits to take home and play with, she is a love!! I wanted to come up with something that I could send out to all the ladies on my team so that they could see the new In Colours and DSP.. as well as that adorable little stamp!

Planner Girls Collective – Spring Bucket List

I do love our weekly posts when they include some form of creativity so as soon as I read today’s topic of “Spring Bucket List” I knew it was going in my art journal and I had just the stamp set for it! To view the process video click HERE!

Firstly I created the blue background using some toilet paper and my blue ink pad, then I double stamped around the border to give the flowers more texture.

I love how it turned out, it was so simple to do but looks so effective, it could easily be used on letter paper too for those of you Witney pen pals!

Tempting Turquoise

Flirty Flamingo

Old Olive

Peekaboo Peach

The stamp set I used was Avant-Garden which available free, until the end of March, with a purchase of £45

Dont forget to pop over to see what the other girls in the PGC series have on their bucket lists!
